Autumn Woman, Harvest Queen is a one-day workshop in which to explore (PERI)MENOPAUSE as a powerful rite of passage in a woman’s life, often feared and misunderstood.

As our fertility wanes, we move from the Summer season of our lives to the Autumn. This is a time to CLAIM our harvest, EMBODY our wisdom and LEAD our communities!

The Natal Lunar Phase Return is a fascinating phenomenon tied to the cycles of the moon and its potential influence on our fertility.
When the moon is in the same phase as it was on the day you were born, you can experience a second opportunity for ovulation—an additional fertile window each lunar cycle, about 13 times a year. This idea isn’t new.
It dates back to ancient times and was even studied in the 1940s and 50s. But with the advent of hormonal contraception, much of this natural knowledge was overshadowed or forgotten. Today, some natural fertility practitioners embrace it, while others remain sceptical due to a lack of modern research. For those seeking to avoid pregnancy, tracking this potential second ovulation could be a game-changer for natural contraception. And for those trying to conceive, it offers a new perspective on timing and opportunities.  The normal success rate of the rhythm method of fertility tracking is between 30-85 percent, studies found that when tracking of lunar fertile times is added to this method the success rate jumps to 97.7%. 40 years ago during my midwifery training, I witne

40 years ago during my midwifery training, I witnessed institutionalised acts of abuse and violence being done on mothers and babies masquerading as safety. Feeling complicit in this damage to women and their babies,
I left the system as soon as I could and began working as a home birth midwife; and my role became about supporting women to work with their natural process. Through this I saw childbirth become a transformational and empowering experience for everyone involved. Our modern culture is disconnected from nature, for many women this looks like disconnection from the menstrual cycle, childbirth and menopause. Women are handing over authority to institutions that pathologise these core aspects of womanhood. There is a better way. Through the menstrual cycle, childbirth and menopause, we embody the generative and transformational energies and cycles of nature. Let us choose to connect with these energies and cycles and through working with them choose the path of transformation, self-responsibility and empowerment. Let us work with nature, our nature. My mission is to help women reclaim feminine knowledge, wisdom and power so all our life seasons are honoured and all the gifts women have are brought to the world.
